As Guidant Lawyers, and Guidant Attorneys, we understand the problems associated with their products. The devices are subject to component failure that may limit available therapy. Guidant has provided physicians with a new recommendation for preventing the component part from malfunctioning, after finding that its earlier recommendation to switch the “Enable Magnet Use” function to OFF was inadequate. A Guidant lawyer, or Guidant attorney, understands the recall process, and how this impacts your claim.
If you or a family member use a Guidant heart defibrillator, it is important that you consult with your doctor to find out which model you use, and whether a replacement would be appropriate for you.
